Where did it all start?
Abbey Glass goes all the way back to when Mr Weston (Founder) first opened a local glass merchants store in 1975 on Chesterfield Road in Sheffield, quickly forging a reputation for supplying affordable, high quality Pilkington products.
As time passed, Abbey Glass cemented its foundations around quality and commitment to its customers, and gradually a group of very knowledgeable staff was formed which enabled us to provide an even greater service within the local community.

Anyone is welcome to purchase from our local Sheffield trade counter as we quote for residential and commercial jobs.
Our motto we have stood by for years is that quality with service comes first. Our vast customer base ranges from homeowners wanting a misted up failed double glazed unit replacing, to building contractors requiring materials and glazing products for large commercial projects.
We believe we can offer anybody the service they require, quality products and all at the right price.
Exciting Changes at Abbey Glass: New Location, Expanded Range, and Enhanced Service
After 50 years at our premises in Woodseats, we have decided to move to a larger purpose built premises nearer to town to enable the expansion of our business.
By doing this we will be able to offer an increased level of production and better levels of service to our clients. In terms of products, we will be introducing some new ranges such as Aluminium Frames, Aluminium Bi-Folds, UPVC Architraves and trims and a full range of sealants.
